Here on a campus visit and to explore a partnership with MDIS, the group was hosted by the institute’s International Business department as well as Heads of School, MDIS Business School, Media and Communications, and Technology.

Upon their arrival in the morning, they were ushered to the MDIS auditorium and provided with an overview of the institute. This was followed by a campus tour where they were shown our extensive learning and living facilities, including well-equipped engineering and life sciences laboratories and workshops, media hub, fashion studios, the MDIS Bakery and Culinary Studio, hostel accommodation, recreation facilities for students and more.

The visit proved to be an eye-opener for the students and staff from the Polytechnic and they were very impressed, so much so that plans are underway for an immersion programme in March 2019 for another group of students and staff from the Polytechnic. Both institutions are also exploring a partnership to progress the Polytechnic’s diploma graduates to top-up degrees in business and management, media and communications and technology at MDIS.
