Held on 24 November, the ceremony was graced by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Ang Wei Neng, Member of Parliament for Jurong GRC, and Northumbria University representatives including Dr Kevin Robertson, Faculty Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor, Learning & Teaching, Faculty of Health & Life Science; Ms Ruth Crabtree, Head of International Development, Faculty of Health & Life Science; and Dr Ng Wai Pang, Director of International Recruitment and Development, Faculty of Engineering and Environment.

Mr Ang encouraged graduands to keep up with emerging technology: “What I know is that I have to continue to learn. My organisation has to transform. My staff has to embrace technology or will be shown the door.”

Dr Eric Kuan, President of MDIS, reminded graduands that their path forward is a continuous journey of self-awareness, reflection and confidence building to strive towards ever higher goals. And lifelong learning should be a part of that journey.
