Our Tourism and Hospitality MSc brings together a rigorous social science approach with the development of skills that are needed by the likes of, for example, restaurant entrepreneurs, resort coordinators, and hotel managers.
We welcome graduates from any discipline to apply for a Master's degree in Science Tourism and Hospitality. There is a core module in ‘Hospitality Management Studies’ and an optional module with a focus on work-based learning. You will negotiate the final phase of the course with your tutors to reflect your personal interests and career aspirations.
An MBA gives you breadth of knowledge, while an MSc gives you the depth of knowledge. So really, the right question to ask is - do you want to be a generalist or a specialist in your field? If your goal is to be an expert or specialist in your field - complete an MSc. If your goal is to have a broad knowledge of the general approaches to management - pursue an MBA.
