A Feast for the EyesLatest News
Held in the hub of the Orchard shopping belt, MDIS Fashion and Design students debuted their ready-to-wear collections that were inspired by their cultural diversity at Orchard Gateway on 2 June. Captivated by the creative designs, shoppers lined two levels of the mall to watch the runway shows and capture pictures with their phone cameras.
The fashion show was flanked by mannequins dressed in the students’ best designs and a broadcast of the School’s video on a nearby LED screen.
Featuring high quality, wearable designs for both women and men, the fashion show was well-received by students, fashion industry guests as well as shoppers. Twelve models showcased 20 exquisite designs from the aspiring fashion designers.
Indeed, it was a feast for the eyes, a visual treat for audiences as the models strutted down the catwalk in their well-coordinated outfits.
The fashion show proved to be a huge success, providing a platform for young, aspiring fashion designers to showcase their beautiful creations.
It was supported by the MDIS School of Media and Communications, with an emcee hyping up the show and a videographer and photographer capturing golden memories.
